TRUMPET ABUTMENT

The Trumpet Abutment has a design purposely conceived for ensuring an ideal antibacterial seal. The apposition of soft tissue on the abutment neck follows the articulated lines, creating the bases for the following advantages:

  • creates the preconditions for a greater respect of biological width
  • increases the possibility of platform switching
  • allows the deeper insertion of the implant, extending the portion of the soft tissue available
  • creates an ideal epithelial seal thanks to the positioning of the one-step abutment
  • promotes the proliferation of hemidesmosomes, which are responsible for cell adhesion to the surface of the transmucosal collar
  • all of which promotes an ideal bacterial seal, and guarantees successful long-term prosthetic rehabilitation
